Encouraged and inspired by them, my husband and I started to plan to find a one-to-one personal trainer. Fortunately, most of my young family members are fitness enthusiasts. Sometimes, a little movement would cause unexpected pain shooting out from anywhere of my body. I could not enjoy working in my garden and holding my new-born grandchildren anymore. By the time I retired five years ago, I already lost body shape and muscle strength. We were too busy with our child-rearing and career pursuing to notice that the strength of our muscles has been weakening gradually as we get older year by year. Not many of us knew about muscles neither. Living healthily and independently is my ultimate goal. As a result, I have committed myself to staying strong and healthy since then. I remember vividly that helping them get through every day was a tremendous job not only for me but also for my four siblings. ![]() Both my grandma and my mother had been bedridden for many years when I was a toddler and in my teens. ![]()
